The Celebration Begins In
Our Story

Her Journey
She was the second child of her parents, Sasidharan & Geetha, and younger sister to Sarath. She grew up in the quiet village of Palakkad, surrounded by love, caring, family moments and simple joys.

2006 - 2016

Where It All Began, GHSS Kumaranellur
We were just classmates that first year, hardly spoke to each other. She was well-liked and always surrounded by friends. I was more on the quiet side, mostly kept to myself. We didn’t have many reasons to talk back then.
Plus Two 2016 - 2018

The First Message - Help Seeking
I needed help with some Botany and Zoology record diagrams. At first, our friend Majna agreed to help, but she backed out at the last minute. I didn’t know what to do, so I messaged her (Sneha), even though we had never really talked before. We were just classmates back then. That small message didn’t feel like a big deal, But looking back, it quietly marked the start of our friendship. From that point on, our bond slowly began to grow.

A Call That Continued It
One quiet Saturday evening, my phone rang — it was a call from a landline. To my surprise, it was her, asking about the admission process. I shared all the details I knew, and a few days later, she joined the same college. We weren’t particularly close at that time, but that unexpected call became a small but memorable checkpoint in our journey.

College Days Unfold
I took BCA, and she went for BA English. We weren’t in touch much, but we’d see each other during breaks and say a quick hi. Sometimes we had common English classes, and once in a while, we even ended up in the same row during exams. Nothing big, just familiar faces in the same space.
2018 - 2021

That One Trip We Still Talk About
Our departments - BA and BCA - went on a single joint college trip, and somehow, it stuck with us. The long bus rides, shared snacks, silly photos, and loud music made it unforgettable. We weren’t anything more than friends back then, but that trip brought us a little closer. Looking back, it wasn’t about the destination - it was about the moments we shared along the way
College Days
Different Pressures, Silent Connection
I was planning a 6-month coding course, focusing on building my career step by step. At the same time, she was facing a different kind of pressure — her family had started looking for marriage proposals, some even nearing finalisation. Although we hardly spoke during this period, it wasn’t due to any conflict. Life had simply placed us on different paths, yet a quiet, unspoken connection remained in the background.

Poetry & Purpose
Started her Master’s in Literature - filled with poetry, prose, and paper deadlines.

Logic & Loops
Moved to Kochi to learn coding, debug errors, and build my future line by line.

Her Stand
Pushed back against expectations and found her way back to complete her Master’s — chasing purpose over pressure.

His Start
Moved to Bengaluru for first job — fresh beginnings, unfamiliar streets, and the thrill of independence.
Texting, Food Trails & Finding Our Way Back
From 2022 to 2023, our friendship slowly deepened. Daily texts and midnight calls kept us connected, and weekend visits meant food hunts, restaurant trips, and wandering the streets of Thrissur — small moments that felt special. Through personal challenges like marriage pressures, career shifts, and studies, we gradually found our way back to each other. Conversations became effortless again, and comfort, laughter, and familiarity returned, like picking up an old book right where we left off.
2022-2023

Under the Stars, I Asked
It was late and quiet, and we were talking as usual when the topic of her past marriage proposals came up. After a pause, I asked something I’d been thinking about for a long time: if we married different people, we might lose this friendship… so why couldn’t we just marry each other to keep it together? In that moment, the journey we’d been on without realizing it finally had a name.

Her reply "Achan samadhichal.. kettam"
